Working hours: Monday – Friday, 7.5 hour shifts
Our client is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Band 6 General Radiographer to join their imaging department in East Yorkshire. This short-term opportunity is ideal for a radiographer who is confident in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services and is committed to patient-centred care. The successful candidate will be working within a supportive team, contributing to the efficient delivery of radiographic services for the client’s patients.
What will your responsibilities be:
The General Radiographer will be responsible for performing a wide range of routine diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high standards of image quality and patient safety. Key duties include operating imaging equipment, maintaining accurate patient records, and working collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves adhering to departmental protocols and radiation safety regulations while maintaining a compassionate and professional approach to patient care.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- HCPC registered Radiographer
- Experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent
- Proficient in general radiographic techniques and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current radiographic practices and safety standards
- Experience in NHS or similar healthcare settings is preferred
