• UNIX environment, scripting
• Java migration to 17/21 underway

Job Description

• Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular and Java.
• The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of professional development experience and a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Additional skills in AWS and EKS are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Angular for front-end and Java for back-end services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 plus Java/J2EE, Angular, Cloud-AWS and EKS, BA is required in Computer Science or similar, able to work in Unix environment, understanding of scripting.
• Proficiency in Angular framework and its core principles.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language and related technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Experience with Shell Scripting , Unix Working Knowledge
• Experience with RDBMS like Oracle , Db2 , Sybase etc.

Pay Range: $80-100/ HR W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
