About the Role

Bryans Road Crown is seeking a talented A-Level Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our growing independent shop. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and problem-solving, while delivering top-notch service our customers trust.

You’ll work on a variety of vehicles, handle challenging diagnostics, and be part of a team that values skill, professionalism, and efficiency.

Top Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical, drivability, and emissions issues.
• Execute major repairs, including timing chains, engine repairs, and other complex systems.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and clearly communicate findings to customers.
• Maintain strong productivity with 30–50 billable hours per week.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure high-quality repairs and honest service.

Who We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of professional automotive technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to independently perform complex repairs
• Maryland State Inspector License preferred
• Experience with Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) preferred
• ASE certifications a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Independent shop experience preferred; dealer techs with strong diagnostic skills welcome
