Clinical Data Analyst & Scientific Writer

Job Summary

Prolife Cancer Centre is seeking a skilled Clinical Data Analyst & Scientific Writer to join our research team. The selected candidate will work with a large oncology database of over 4,000 patient records, performing clinical data analysis, survival analysis, and scientific manuscript preparation for publication in peer-reviewed international journals.

Key Responsibilities

Extract, clean, and organize oncology patient data from hospital records and electronic medical records (EMRs).
Perform statistical analyses, including survival analysis and clinical outcome assessment.
Prepare scientific manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals.
Write and compile the Methods and Results sections of research papers.
Manage references and ensure manuscripts comply with journal submission guidelines.
Collaborate with clinicians and researchers on ongoing research projects.
Maintain accurate research databases and documentation.

Eligibility

1-3 + years of relevant experience in clinical research, biostatistics, scientific writing, or medical data analysis.
Educational qualifications may include:
BAMS, BHMS, or BUMS with postgraduate training in Clinical Research, Biostatistics, or Public Health.
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics.
M.Sc., M.Tech, or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.

Skills Required

Proficiency in R, SAS, or SPSS for statistical analysis.
Experience with clinical data management and electronic medical records (EMRs).
Strong understanding of survival analysis, including Kaplan-Meier analysis, Log-rank tests, and Cox Proportional Hazards models.
Familiarity with oncology concepts such as TNM Staging, Progression-Free Survival (PFS), and Overall Survival (OS).
Experience with scientific writing and manuscript preparation.
Knowledge of reference management tools such as EndNote or Mendeley.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 2–3 publications in PubMed- or Scopus-indexed journals as a primary author or lead analyst.
Experience working with oncology research data and clinical publications.

Competitive salary, based on experience, qualifications, and interview performance.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
