We are a family owned and operated business and we are looking to add a fulltime 5TON driver to the team. Located in Fort McMurray, the successful candidate will be picking up and delivering freight within Fort McMurray and to all the sites such as Suncor, Kearl Lake, Syncrude, Horizon, Firebag, Albian Sands, etc. You must be able to work with our team but also be motivated to work on your own. Deck experience is an asset. Experience operating within the oil sands sites is preferred but not required for the right person.

Must have a clean commercial drivers abstract and pass a pre employment drug screening.

We offer a monthly overtime allowance of $500.00 per month along with excellent Health & Dental Benefits that are both available after 90 days probation period is over. You will have a set start time each day and will generally work 5 days a week with a periodic requirement for a 6th day . Best part is you will always be home at the end of the day.

Preference will be given to those that have a valid First Aid and H2S Alive but we will provide training if needed.

• Operate commercial trucks to deliver products to designated locations efficiently and safely
• Load and unload cargo using loader
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during transportation activities
• Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Experience in commercial driving or related fields preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly
• Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers
• Excellent safety awareness and adherence to transportation regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently for timely deliveries

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
