Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual statutory financial statements according to regulatory and accounting standards.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and provide support during internal and external audits.
• Assist in preparing journal entries related to statutory financial transactions.
• Support state and NAIC compliance activities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Load, verify, and reconcile statutory financial data within financial systems to support quarterly and annual reporting cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; professional certifications preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in statutory financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of NAIC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and SAP accounting.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to exercise judgment in ambiguous situations and work independently.
• Proficiency with financial reporting tools and ability to learn new systems quickly.
