Join a dynamic team where your voice matters, your background is valued, and your contributions make a real impact on patient outcomes.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a&nbsp;<strong>Non-Sterile Pharmacist</strong>&nbsp;to join our Northeast Operations team in&nbsp;<strong>Bellmore,</strong>&nbsp;<strong>NY.</strong> This role is centered around non-sterile compounding oversight, production support, and pharmacist verification, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient preparation of customized medications.</p> <p>The&nbsp;<strong>Non-Sterile Pharmacist</strong>&nbsp;will play an active role within the lab environment, overseeing compounding activities, reviewing formulations, and supporting pharmacy technicians in day-to-day production. This individual will also perform pharmacist verification&nbsp;<strong>(PV1/PV2)</strong>&nbsp;and ensure all compounded medications meet&nbsp;<strong>USP &lt;795&gt;,</strong>&nbsp;regulatory, and internal quality standards.</p> <p>This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced compounding pharmacy environment, requiring both operational awareness and attention to detail.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee and support non-sterile compounding operations, including creams, gels, suspensions, capsules, troches, and other customized dosage forms</li> <li>Review formulations, ingredient calculations, and compounding processes to ensure accuracy and consistency</li> <li>Provide hands-on guidance and support to pharmacy technicians during compounding activities</li> <li>Ensure all compounds meet USP &lt;795&gt;, state pharmacy regulations, and internal SOPs</li> <li>Perform pharmacist verification (PV1 and/or PV2) for completed prescriptions</li> <li>Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosing accuracy, and compliance</li> <li>Monitor compounding workflow to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely production</li> <li>Identify, document, and resolve compounding errors, discrepancies, or process issues</li> <li>Maintain accurate compounding records, batch documentation, and verification logs</li> <li>Support inventory awareness of raw materials and assist with proper utilization within the lab</li> <li>Collaborate with pharmacy and operations leadership to improve workflow, quality, and scalability of compounding processes</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Active New York Pharmacist license in good standing</li> <li>Experience in pharmacy operations, compounding, or production environments</li> <li>Strong understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and compliance standards</li> <li>High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment</li> <li>Strong communication skills and ability to support and guide pharmacy technicians</li> <li>Ability to follow SOPs and maintain consistent documentation standards</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in a non-sterile compounding pharmacy</li> <li>Familiarity with USP &lt;795&gt; standards</li> <li>Experience with PV1 and PV2 workflows</li> <li>Hands-on experience in compounding production environments</li> <li>Experience with customized medications and formulation review</li> <li>Experience using pharmacy software systems</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Details</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Type:</strong>&nbsp;Full Time</p> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong>&nbsp;Monday through Friday</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong>&nbsp;Bellmore, NY</p> <p><strong>Work Hours:&nbsp;</strong>8am - 4pm</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>401(k)</li> <li>401(k) matching</li> <li>Dental insurance</li> <li>Health insurance</li> <li>Paid time off</li> <li>Vision insurance</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Why Join Us</strong></p> <p>As part of&nbsp;<strong>Precision Medicine</strong>, you’ll be at the heart of an exciting transformation in the telemedicine landscape.
