Hiring: Senior Manager – Business Development
Pradhan Industries, a reputed industrial and mining organization engaged in natural graphite mining, beneficiation and mineral processing, is looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented professional for the position of Senior Manager – Business Development.
The candidate must have strong exposure to industrial business development, mining sector operations, mineral-based industries, customer development, market expansion and commercial coordination. Candidates having prior experience in the Graphite Industry will be given immediate preference and priority hiring.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and expand new business opportunities in the mining, minerals and industrial sectors.
- Develop strong customer relationships with industries using graphite and mineral-based products.
- Explore new domestic and industrial markets for natural graphite and related mineral products.
- Handle lead generation, customer acquisition, customer follow-up and business conversion.
- Coordinate with existing customers for regular orders, product requirements, pricing discussions and long-term business development.
- Study customer requirements relating to grade, mesh size, fixed carbon percentage, quantity, quality, packaging and despatch schedule.
- Coordinate with production, quality, dispatch, accounts and management teams for smooth execution of customer orders.
- Understand mineral markets, industrial buyers, traders, processors and end-user industries.
- Develop business with foundries, steel plants, refractory units, lubricant industries, battery-related sectors, carbon product manufacturers and other graphite-consuming industries.
- Prepare market reports, customer reports, competitor analysis, price trend analysis and business development plans.
- Follow up for quotations, negotiations, order finalization, payment terms and commercial closure.
- Support the management in developing new product lines, new market segments and strategic business opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally before customers, vendors, consultants, institutions and industrial clients.
- Maintain proper records of customer communication, enquiries, offers, orders, follow-ups and pending matters.
- Travel to customer locations, industrial areas, mines, plants and business meetings as and when required.
Candidate Profile
The candidate must have:
- Strong experience in Business Development / Sales / Marketing / Commercial Coordination in industrial or mining sectors.
- Good knowledge of minerals, mineral processing, industrial raw materials and mining-based products.
- Practical understanding of industrial customers, mineral buyers and B2B sales.
- Good exposure to customer handling, negotiation, order finalization and business growth.
- Ability to understand technical specifications such as grade, quality, quantity, processing requirement and application of minerals.
- Strong communication, presentation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, plant visits, mining locations and business meetings.
- Good knowledge of documentation, reporting, quotation preparation and customer communication.
- A serious, disciplined and target-oriented approach towards business development.

Candidates who have worked in the Graphite Industry will be immediately preferred for selection and hiring.
Qualification
Graduate / MBA / B.Tech / Diploma / Degree in Mining, Metallurgy, Mechanical, Chemical, Mineral Processing, Business Management, Marketing or any relevant field.
Candidates with strong practical industrial and mining experience will be given preference.
Experience Required
Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing or Commercial Development in mining, minerals or industrial sectors.
Highly experienced candidates from the graphite sector may be considered on priority.
