Job Title: Project Controls Coordinator III
Location: Toronto, ON
Schedule: Hybrid – In-Office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) / Remote (Wednesday & Friday)

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented Project Controls Coordinator III to support project execution through cost management, forecasting, scheduling, reporting, and earned value analysis using EcoSys.
What's the Job?
- Analyze and maintain project costs at the WBS level, including control budgets, incurred costs, commitments, and forecasts.
- Provide accurate and timely cost information and reporting to project teams.
- Perform earned value measurements to anticipate forecast impacts.
- Complete monthly project closing activities, including preparing reports and comparative capital cost estimates using Excel and EcoSys.
- Prepare and document project change orders in alignment with PMO standards.
- Engage Project Managers to review and reforecast project costs.
- Review cost transactions for accuracy and alignment.
- Collaborate with the broader Controls team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with Project Managers and Field Cost Analysts to remain informed on progress, scope changes, highlights, and issues.
- Maintain the project Work Breakdown Structure to support project execution, cost control, asset creation, and closeout requirements.
- Support Engineering Cost Associates with work order maintenance, invoice coding, and validation.
- Participate in meetings to stay informed on project scope, cost, schedule, and progress updates.
- Work within industry‑standard practices and established internal processes.
What's Needed?
- A four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Controls or Project Management.
- Project Management professional designation preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with Earned Value Management.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Proven experience collaborating with colleagues, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, MS Office, and intermediate+ Excel skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload while raising issues proactively.
- High attention to detail with an understanding of the importance of data reconciliation.
