Job Description
As an Assistant Manager/Manager at our company in Bangalore, your role will involve identifying and understanding risks, preparing RFQs and comparisons, negotiating pricing with insurers, designing benefit plans, and providing sales support for corporate clients in the Employee Benefits (EB) domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare RFQs and proposals for EB products, and obtain competitive quotes from insurers.
- Analyze claims MIS and terms and conditions to evaluate risks and present them to insurance companies.
- Negotiate pricing with insurers and identify cost-saving discounting factors.
- Prepare QCR, placement slips, and quote presentations.
- Collaborate with client-facing colleagues to understand client requirements and provide end-to-end solutions for placing business with insurers.
- Identify client risk exposures, understand insurance requirements, and offer appropriate insurance solutions.
- Conduct timely meetings with insurers and client stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of PSU insurers, including their calculators and formats.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 5 years of stable experience in the insurance industry, focusing on insurer relationship management, EB placement, or client servicing in a broker or TPA firm.
- Graduation or MBA in insurance will be a plus.
- Goal-oriented with a positive attitude, sincerity, hard work ethic, and ambition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear expression of thoughts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of PSU, DO, RO offices.
