THE OPPORTUNITY
Public sector agencies are increasingly looking to modernize their operations while demonstrating ROI and improving services amid resource constraints. Many remain unaware of the transformative potential that Salesforce and AI can offer. In this newly dedicated role, you will be at the forefront, driving strategies and generating revenue for this sector.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive New Business:
- Identify and close new opportunities across state and local government, education, and workforce development agencies.
- Create a sustainable pipeline through networking, events, partnerships, and direct outreach.
- Confidently navigate public sector procurement processes, RFPs, and contract vehicles.
Build Lasting Relationships:
- Establish trust with CXOs and key decision-makers at targeted agencies.
- Position Plumlogix as a long-term strategic partner rather than just a vendor.
Sell Meaningful Solutions:
- Collaborate with expert teams to develop tailored proposals that highlight Salesforce and AI capabilities.
- Effectively communicate complex technology benefits to non-technical audiences.
Grow the Ecosystem:
- Engage in co-selling efforts with Salesforce Public Sector and strategic partners to enhance the pipeline.
- Represent Plumlogix at relevant events and conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline, forecasts, and CRM data.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise or public sector sales within IT services, SaaS, or consulting.
- A proven track record of closing deals with U.S. State & Local Government or SLED accounts.
- Experience in selling to Workforce Development agencies.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and contract vehicles.
- Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem or cloud-based solutions.
- A consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Preferred
- An established network within public sector agencies and workforce development organizations.
- Experience at a system integrator or consulting firm.
- Knowledge of grants, federal funding programs, and compliance requirements.

COMPENSATION
This performance-oriented role is ideal for self-starters looking to align their earnings with their results:
- Recoverable commission draw during the initial ramp period.
- 35% of Gross Margin on all closed revenue—uncapped.
- Contract-to-hire with strong performers transitioning to permanent positions with benefits.
