Job Title: Amazon Connect Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Amazon Connect Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, telephony integrations, and customer experience (CX) solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable contact center solutions using Amazon Connect
  • Configure contact flows, routing strategies, IVR systems, and call recording
  • Integrate Amazon Connect with AWS services like AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, Amazon S3, and Amazon DynamoDB
  • Develop and maintain APIs and backend logic for contact center workflows
  • Implement real-time and historical reporting using Amazon CloudWatch and other analytics tools
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot issues related to telephony, routing, and integrations
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of contact center solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud-based contact center technologies
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect
  • Strong knowledge of AWS ecosystem (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM)
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Node.js, or JavaScript
  • Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with IVR design, call routing, and telephony concepts (SIP, VoIP)
  • Experience integrating CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) is a plus
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect)
  • Experience with Amazon Lex for chatbot/voice bot development
  • Knowledge of contact center analytics and reporting tools
  • Prior experience in customer experience (CX) transformation projects
