About the Role

We are currently seeking a Jr. Treasury Analyst to join a dynamic finance team on a 6-month contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a treasury professional with strong experience in cash management, bank reconciliations, and banking operations.

Location: Vaughan, ON (Hybrid – mostly remote, with occasional onsite attendance once per quarter)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare daily cash reporting and support cash management activities
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate/resolve reconciling items
Monitor bank balances and ensure alignment with financial systems
Support payment activities, including wires, cheques, and banking transactions
Prepare journal entries related to banking activities and service charges
Work with internal teams and banking partners to resolve transaction-related issues
Support compliance reporting and documentation requirements
Assist with KYC-related activities, including data validation and document verification
Maintain accurate records and support audit requirements

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, or banking functions
Strong experience with bank reconciliations and financial data analysis
Exposure to KYC, compliance processes, or client/entity verification is an asset
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, data analysis)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
