We are seeking motivated and energetic Fitness Instructors to lead our group fitness program (PE@PF) and inspire members on their health and wellness journey.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF) and assisting members with their fitness goals. You will design simple workout programs, educate members on equipment use, and provide outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program according to schedule.
• Consult with members about their fitness history, medical conditions, and goals.
• Instruct members on proper and safe equipment usage.
• Create bi-weekly program updates with a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist with front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members in, and new member sign-ups.
• Provide tours for prospective members and explain membership benefits.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the club.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A passion for fitness and health with an upbeat, positive attitude.
• Punctuality, reliability, and exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem-solve.
• Professionalism and diplomacy in all interactions with members and co-workers.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk continuously during shift.
• Ability to communicate in person and over the phone throughout shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
