This role of Certified Personal Trainer focuses on delivering high-quality fitness experiences through education, engagement, and exceptional member service within the PE@PF group training program.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Certified Personal Trainer, you will lead group fitness sessions and support members in building confidence, improving fitness levels, and using gym equipment safely and effectively. You will actively promote a positive and inclusive workout environment while delivering personalized guidance and assistance.

• Organize and oversee fitness schedules including Orientation sessions and Develop Your Own Program (DYOP) training.
• Support members in identifying fitness goals and demonstrate proper, safe use of gym equipment.
• Encourage participation and foster a supportive atmosphere aligned with the Judgement Free Zone® philosophy.
• Conduct regular gym floor walkthroughs to enhance member experience and address concerns promptly.
• Engage with prospective members through calls, facility tours, and training needs assessments.
• Welcome members and guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and respond to general inquiries.
• Handle phone communications professionally and provide accurate information about services and programs.
• Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing fitness equipment, spa areas, restrooms, and shared spaces.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and report any unsafe conditions or behaviors.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Nationally Certified Training Certificate is required.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer and system usage skills.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and support individuals in achieving fitness goals.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to excellent customer service.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform active duties such as standing, walking, bending, and twisting.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience in customer service or member-facing roles.
• Prior experience in fitness, wellness, or health-focused environments.
