- Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices in risk management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in risk assessment and underwriting workflows.
- Deliver training to underwriting staff on risk management principles and tools.
- Contribute to development and testing of new insurance products from a risk perspective.
- *Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related quantitative field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, underwriting, or related analytical role in insurance industry.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Excel).
- Experience with statistical and risk modeling software.
- Solid understanding of insurance principles, products, and underwriting processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or progress towards actuarial designations are a plus.
