Senior Film Producer

Our client, a prestigious name in the media and entertainment industry, is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Film Producer to oversee and manage film projects from conception through to distribution. This role is based in our vibrant Pune, Maharashtra, IN studio and requires a passionate individual with a proven ability to bring creative visions to life while adhering to strict budgets and timelines. You will be responsible for all aspects of production, including script development, budgeting, scheduling, casting, hiring crew, coordinating with directors and department heads, and ensuring the highest quality of creative output.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in film production management, with a portfolio showcasing successful completion of diverse film projects. You should have a deep understanding of the film production process, including pre-production, principal photography, post-production, and marketing. Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are crucial for managing diverse teams and stakeholders. You must be adept at problem-solving, possess strong decision-making capabilities under pressure, and have a keen eye for detail.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and nurturing film projects from initial concept to final delivery. Securing financing, managing budgets, and ensuring financial viability of projects. Overseeing script acquisition, development, and revisions. Collaborating with directors to realize their artistic vision. Managing and negotiating contracts with talent, crew, and vendors. Developing detailed production schedules and ensuring adherence to them. Supervising all stages of the production process, including location scouting, set design, cinematography, sound recording, and editing. Coordinating post-production activities, including visual effects, sound mixing, and color grading. Liaising with distribution partners and marketing teams to ensure successful release strategies. Mitigating risks and resolving production challenges proactively. Building and maintaining strong relationships within the film industry.

A Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Business, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in film production, with at least 3-5 years in a producer or senior production management role, is required.
