Our client is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Senior Digital Marketing Specialist with expertise in SEO and SEM to join their vibrant team in **Washington, D.C., US**. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced strategies to enhance online visibility, drive targeted traffic, and optimize digital advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, paid search platforms, and data analytics, with a proven track record of achieving measurable marketing objectives.

Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic. Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and site audits to identify opportunities and inform SEO efforts. Implement on-page and off-page optimization techniques, including content strategy, link building, and technical SEO. Manage and optimize SEM campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and others. Develop ad copy, select keywords, and manage bidding strategies to maximize ROI and achieve campaign goals. Analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and platform-specific reporting. Generate regular reports on SEO and SEM performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations. Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and other marketing team members to ensure cohesive digital strategies. Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, SEM, and digital marketing. Test and iterate on various approaches to continuously improve campaign effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on SEO and SEM. Proven experience in developing and executing successful SEO and SEM campaigns that drive significant traffic and conversions. Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and SEM platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads Editor). Solid understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices. Experience with website analytics and data interpretation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a plus.
