Lead Spa Therapist & Wellness Coordinator

Our client, a luxurious wellness retreat, is looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Spa Therapist & Wellness Coordinator to manage their state-of-the-art spa facility in Pune, Maharashtra, IN . This role requires an individual with extensive experience in providing a wide range of spa treatments and a passion for holistic wellness. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of guest service, managing the spa team, and contributing to the overall wellness programming. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills in various therapeutic modalities, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to creating a serene and rejuvenating guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of spa treatments including massages, facials, body wraps, and other therapies. Lead and supervise a team of spa therapists, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback. Ensure all spa operations adhere to hygiene, safety, and quality standards. Develop and implement spa treatment protocols and service standards. Manage spa bookings, client consultations, and customize treatment plans. Promote and sell spa services, retail products, and wellness packages to guests. Assist in developing and coordinating wellness programs and events. Maintain inventory of spa supplies and place orders as needed. Ensure a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns or complaints professionally.

Qualifications

Professional certification in Massage Therapy, Esthetics, or a related field from a recognized institution. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Spa Therapist, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Proficiency in multiple therapeutic modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, sports massage, advanced skincare techniques). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Knowledge of spa operations, retail management, and wellness practices. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. A passion for health, wellness, and creating exceptional guest experiences. First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
