Junior Data Analyst

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join their growing analytics team. This is an excellent internship opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in data analysis within a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior analysts and data scientists to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data, supporting various business initiatives. This role requires a strong quantitative aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for uncovering insights from data.

Responsibilities: Assist in collecting data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform data cleaning and pre-processing tasks to prepare data for analysis. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Develop and generate reports and dashboards using data visualization tools. Support senior analysts in conducting statistical analysis and hypothesis testing. Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights. Document data sources, methodologies, and findings. Assist in the development and maintenance of data quality checks. Learn and apply new data analysis techniques and tools. Contribute to team meetings and discussions, sharing findings and perspectives. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Basic understanding of statistical concepts and methods. Familiarity with data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
