HVAC Installation Technician

Our client is a reputable provider of installation and maintenance services, seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Installation Technician to join their team in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, IN . This role involves installing, testing, and commissioning a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities: Install and set up new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, ventilation units, and heat pumps according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals to determine system layouts and requirements. Connect electrical components and controls, ensuring proper wiring and functionality. Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Identify and troubleshoot installation issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs. Ensure all installations are performed safely, adhering to company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Educate clients on system operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of installation work, materials used, and time spent. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient project completion. Manage tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. Respond to client inquiries and provide professional and courteous service. Identify opportunities for upselling related services or products when appropriate. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new installation techniques. Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program in HVAC is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an HVAC Installation Technician. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation procedures. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety regulations. Skilled in using hand and power tools common to the trade. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical stamina to work in various environments and lift heavy equipment. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Certification (e.g., EPA Section 608) is a significant advantage.
