Business Intelligence Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support a growing organization within the industry by developing data models, dashboards, and analytical insights that drive strategic decision-making. The Business Intelligence Analyst role is ideal for a data‑driven professional with strong technical skills and a passion for transforming complex information into actionable intelligence. This position will be hybrid in Mclean, VA 3 days per week!

Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Analyst:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business operations and leadership decision-making.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver accurate, timely insights.
• Design and enhance data models, ETL processes, and data quality frameworks.
• Provide recommendations based on analytics to improve operational efficiency and business performance.

Qualifications of the Business Intelligence Analyst:

• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or analytics.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate insights clearly.

Compensation for the Business Intelligence Analyst includes:

• Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
