The Senior Corporate Accountant plays a key role in supporting the accounting function through financial reporting, month-end close activities, and budgeting processes. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. The role requires strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail to support audits, reporting, and forecasting activities. Perform reconciliations, audits, and reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
Prepare individual, consolidated, and divisional financial statements along with detailed variance analysis
Develop and present financial reports and decks to support business decision-making
Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and addressing audit inquiries
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and all applicable regulatory requirements
Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting processes through analysis, reporting, and financial modeling
Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying key variances and trends
Maintain and support financial systems such as Workday and Concur, including user training and troubleshooting
Execute ad-hoc financial analyses and contribute to special projects as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA preferred)
Hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL) accounting, including full ownership of month-end close processes
Strong experience in financial reporting, including preparation and analysis of financial statements
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting within high-volume environments such as staffing, IT consulting, or professional services
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred) and strong experience creating financial reports and presentations (PowerPoint preferred)
Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial controls
Experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday Financials, and expense platforms such as Concur
