Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Scheduling Available

Pay: $55–$65/hour DOE

Mission Valley Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our collaborative rehabilitation team.

What You'll Do

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that help residents achieve their highest level of function.

Responsibilities Include

  • Perform comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for communication, cognition, voice, and dysphagia
  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans to maximize outcomes
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals, home programs, communication strategies, and swallowing safety
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, dietitians, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate resident care
  • Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and rehabilitation meetings
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide staff education and in-service training as needed
  • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) and student clinicians in accordance with state regulations, when applicable

Qualifications

  • Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
