We have an exciting opportunity for an Organic Synthetic Scientist within our PMRI Organic synthesis laboratories located at Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will contribute to the design and synthesis of labelled drugs and metabolites.
- PhD in synthetic organic chemistry
- MSc in synthetic organic chemistry
- High-level knowledge of organic reactions and their mechanisms
- Ability to plan, develop and trouble shoot complex multi-step syntheses
- Flexibility in adapting methods/skills according to evolving priorities
- Able to perform assigned tasks in a timely manner to meet project timelines, as established by the Director, Organic Synthesis Lab
- The ability to characterize products of complex structure by independent interpretation of spectral data
