Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Java Full Stack Developers for our client to contribute to a large enterprise initiative within the insurance services space.
This role involves building scalable backend services, developing modern UI components, and supporting core business workflows across policy and claims operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs)
- Build responsive frontend applications using ReactJS
- Support and enhance domain-driven workflows related to policy administration, claims processing, and billing
- Design and integrate APIs with internal and external systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, architecture, and QA
- Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices
- Participate in Agile delivery cycles and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Java full stack development
- Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS
- Experience working with microservices and API-driven architectures
- Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling
- Experience working in Agile environment
Preferred Background
- Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance systems
- Familiarity with workflows such as:
- Policy lifecycle and endorsements
- Claims intake and processing
- Billing and payment handling
- Exposure to modern insurance platforms such as Guidewire InsuranceSuite or similar
- Experience with digital insurance platforms (e.g., cloud-based policy/claims systems such as Guidewire InsuranceNow or comparable solutions)
- Cloud experience with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
