Key Deliverables (Essential Functions & Responsibilities of the Job)

• Manage end-to-end production merchandising for knit and woven categories from development to final delivery
• Coordinate closely with design, sourcing, production, and vendor teams to ensure smooth execution of collections
• Develop and maintain production timelines, T&A; calendars, and delivery schedules
• Monitor sampling, approvals, fabric sourcing, trims, and bulk production processes to ensure timelines and quality standards are met
• Liaise with factories and vendors for costing, capacity planning, production updates, and issue resolution
• Ensure product quality and consistency through regular follow-ups, inspections, and fit approvals
• Track inventory, raw material consumption, and production status to minimize delays and wastage
• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to optimize costing while maintaining quality benchmarks
• Identify and resolve production challenges proactively to ensure timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate documentation related to orders, approvals, costing, and production tracking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and production workflows
• Mentor junior merchandising team members and contribute to strengthening internal processes

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of knit and woven production processes, garment construction, and manufacturing workflows
• Extensive experience in production merchandising within fashion or lifestyle brands
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, costing, and quality control
• Ability to manage multiple production calendars and deliveries simultaneously
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production tracking systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Experience working with premium or contemporary fashion brands preferred
