- Bachelors degree and minimum 1 year of relevant experience; minimum 3 years with AS/AA degree, or minimum 5 years in lieu of degree.
- Experience with using GitLab for CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps deployments.
- Experience with microservices, virtualization, and containerized deployments.
- Experience with in React, Node, Java.
- Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL database technologies.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
Peraton is seeking a skilled Junior Full Stack Software Developer to design and build a dynamic, web-based application in a React, Node.js, and AWS environment.

This role directly supports that mission by delivering secure, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and develop well-structured, efficient, and testable web-based software using React, AWS, Postgres, and related technologies.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional applications, ensuring reliability through ongoing maintenance, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with customers and technical teams to translate requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories for both functional and non-functional needs.
- Support Agile teams in backlog planning, work item refinement, and story point estimation.
- Define clear acceptance criteria for User Stories and demonstrate completed work to customers at the end of each sprint.
- Apply industry-standard design patterns and best practices to software solutions.
- Implement secure coding standards to safeguard applications and data.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests to support CI/CD pipelines.
