Job Title: Java Engineer (Java / Spring Boot / k8s / GCP - APIGEE)

Location: Pan India

Mandatory Skills

· Hands-on experience with Java engineering (Java / Spring Boot / k8s / GCP-APIGEE).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering - Java, Spring Boot, microservices
• Experience in GCP cloud services, particularly GKE, GCS, and APIGEE Gateway
• Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and object‑oriented design
• Expertise in real-time (or near real-time) streaming systems and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) ideally Confluent Kafka
• Strong experience in TDD/BDD methodologies and Junit and Mocking frameworks
• Excellent understanding of data streaming architectures and best practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Preferably Gitlab)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts both directly and through documentation
• Strong use of version control and proven ability to govern a team in the best practice use of version control
• Strong understanding of Agile and proven ability to govern a team in the best practice use of Agile methodologies
• A willingness to independently learn a high number of new technologies and to lead a team in learning new technologies

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• An understanding of cloud networking patterns and practises
• Experience with working on a library or other long term product
• Knowledge of the Confluent Kafka
• Experience with terraform
• Knowledge of Docker and K8s
• Knowledge of observability platforms (Preferably Dynatrace)
