Job Title: Senior Python / AI Developer (ML & GenAI)

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Preferring Local)

Duration: 12+ Months

Experience: 10+ Years

Hours: 40 Hours/Week

We are looking for Senior ML / GenAI Engineers (VP Level) to join a fast-growing Asset & Wealth Management AI Engineering team. The team operates with a startup mindset, building next-generation AI platforms that leverage enterprise-scale data to deliver high-impact solutions in the financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on architecture and implementation of ML and LLM-powered solutions
• Develop and deploy scalable ML models and inference services in production
• Build robust batch and real-time data pipelines
• Deploy solutions on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to drive AI adoption
• Design scalable and reliable data processing frameworks
• Experiment, develop, and productionize advanced ML and GenAI solutions

Required Qualifications

• MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Machine Learning
• 10+ years of development experience
• Strong leadership experience in AI/ML and GenAI solution delivery
• Advanced Python programming expertise
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with LLMs such as OpenAI, Claude, or similar models, including evaluation, tracing, and guardrails
• Experience with SQL such as Postgres and NoSQL such as OpenSearch and Redis
• Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, Machine Learning, Statistics, and Information Retrieval
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in Natural Language Processing, Reinforcement Learning, Ranking and Recommendation Systems, or Time Series Analysis
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Keras, MXNet, or Scikit-Learn
