Food Server - Fresher

About the job:

Courtside is looking for servers who will report to the restaurant manager and focus on curating an amazing hospitality experience for patrons.

Courtside places heavy importance on a growth centric culture. You will be exposed to constant training, cuisines, mixology and barista techniques. This would contribute to growing your learning and professional landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the dining area is fully set up, stocked, and prepared on time as per SOPs.
• Lead the table preparation, including silverware, glassware, and other dining essentials.
• Oversee menu knowledge, including daily specials, ingredients, and dietary accommodations.
• Maintain and restock service stations with necessary items like cutlery, condiments, and tableware.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the menu, including signature dishes and recommended pairings.
• Ensure adherence to grooming and uniform standards in line with company policies.
• Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to enhance the guest experience.
• Proactively suggest menu items and pairings to guests, ensuring an engaging dining experience.
• Stay updated on seasonal menu changes and promote new dishes to keep the guest experience fresh and exciting.

Pre-requisites:

• A hotel management graduate is a plus.
• 0-4 years of work experience in similar roles.
• Flexible working hours subject to the demands of the business.
• A passion for food and talking to people.
• Great communication skills.
