Brand Manager: Content & Creative
About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative, execution-focused Content Marketing Manager to lead end-to-end content creation and performance management across digital channels. This role is ideal for someone who can transform consumer insights into compelling content, drive production seamlessly, and ensure that every piece of content delivers measurable business impact.
The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling and creative thinking with exceptional project management skills and a deep understanding of content performance, particularly in digital-first and D2C environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy & Ideation
- Develop content ideas, campaigns, and concepts aligned with brand objectives and consumer insights.
- Identify content opportunities across social media, performance marketing, website, and other digital touchpoints.
- Stay updated on cultural trends, platform trends, and consumer behavior to create relevant and engaging content.
2.Content Development
- Write creative briefs, scripts, hooks, storyboards, and content outlines.
- Translate brand objectives into compelling content formats that drive engagement and conversions.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual storytelling.
3.Production Management
- Lead end-to-end content production from concept to final delivery.
- Work closely with internal creative teams, freelancers, creators, agencies, and production houses.
- Guide shoots, provide creative direction, and ensure content quality meets brand standards.
- Manage production timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
4.Creative Optimization for Performance Marketing
- Collaborate with design and editing teams to adapt content into high-performing ad creatives.
- Partner with performance marketing teams to develop content that supports acquisition, retention, and engagement goals.
- Continuously test creative approaches, messaging, formats, and hooks.
5.Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Monitor and analyze content performance across channels.
- Derive actionable insights from engagement, conversion, and campaign data.
- Recommend and implement improvements based on performance learnings.
- Build feedback loops that continuously improve creative effectiveness.
6.Stakeholder Management
- Work cross-functionally with brand, marketing, design, performance, and external partners.
- Drive projects independently and ensure timely execution across multiple workstreams.
Requirements
- 5–6+ years of experience in Content Marketing, Creative Strategy, Brand Content, or a similar role.
- Prior experience in a D2C brand, digital-first company, creative agency, or content-focused marketing environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating content ideation, scripting, campaign execution, and performance-oriented content.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and digital marketing.
- Experience managing content shoots and coordinating with production teams.
- Strong project management and execution capabilities with attention to detail. ● Ability to balance creativity with business outcomes and performance metrics.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Preferred Background
- Experience in Beauty, Wellness, Personal Care, Lifestyle, or Consumer Brands.
- Agency experience with exposure to multiple brands and content formats.
- Understanding of content performance metrics and paid media creative best practices.
