Key Responsibilities :
- Real-Time Engagement: Responding to customer inquiries promptly via live chat and messaging platforms to address queries or troubleshoot problems.
- Problem Resolution: Identifying customer needs and helping them use specific product features or providing step-by-step guidance to resolve technical issues.
- Record Management: Documenting customer interactions in CRM systems and updating internal databases with technical issue reports.
- Issue Escalation: Identifying and escalating complex cases to the appropriate departments while following up to ensure resolution.
- Proactive Support: Using chat invitations to reach out to website visitors based on their browsing behavior.
Essential Skills
- Written Communication: Exceptional command of grammar and tone to provide clear, professional, and empathetic responses.
- Multitasking: The ability to juggle multiple active chats without sacrificing the quality of service.
- Technical Proficiency: A typing speed typically ranging from 20 to 30 WPM.
- Soft Skills: High levels of empathy, patience, and a "positive attitude" to handle frustrated customers.
- Education: Usually requires a high school diploma or equivalent, though many Customer Support Specialist roles prefer a college degree or relevant certification.
