Roofer / Roofing Labourer (No Flat Roofing Experience Needed)

Position Overview

We’re looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our team. No flat roofing experience is required — we’ll provide full training for the right person. Previous experience in any type of roofing or construction is an asset, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are most important.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofing systems (BUR, PVC, EPDM, torch-on, etc.)
• Load and unload materials, carry tools, and help set up job sites
• Support experienced roofers during installations and repairs
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
• Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, and working at heights

Requirements

• Must have a personal vehicle that you do not share — many job sites are not accessible by public transit
• Valid driver’s license and ability to commute across Ottawa and surrounding areas
• Physically fit — capable of heavy lifting (100+ lbs), repetitive motions, bending, kneeling, and working on sloped surfaces
• Reliable and punctual — we do not tolerate tardiness or unexcused absences
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round, in all types of weather

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.31-$25.00 per hour
