Profile: Investment Banking Fund Raising Associate
Location: Bandra West, Mumbai
Experience Required: 4 years
CTC : Upto 10 Lakhs to 18 Lakhs (depends on interview)
Working days: 5 days in a week
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Investment Banking professional to support fund-raising mandates across equity and debt, handling both front-end investor interactions and backend execution, documentation, and deal closure activities. The role requires strong financial understanding, communication skills, and hands-on deal execution capability.
Key Responsibilities
Front-End – Fund Raising & Investor Interaction
- Assist in fund-raising mandates including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Debt, and Structured Finance.
- Prepare and present investment pitches to investors, family offices, funds, and HNIs.
- Coordinate meetings, calls, and negotiations with potential investors.
- Support senior bankers in deal origination, client pitching, and mandate acquisition.
- Maintain relationships with investors, funds, and intermediaries.
- Track investor feedback and manage follow-ups throughout the fund-raising cycle
Backend – Deal Execution & Support
- Prepare Information Memorandums (IM), Pitch Decks, Teasers, and Financial Models.
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and industry research.
- Assist in due diligence coordination (financial, legal, commercial).
- Prepare data rooms, trackers, and MIS for live deals.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and internal teams for documentation.
- Support execution of term sheets, transaction documents, and deal closure.
Research & Analysis
- Perform industry research, company profiling, and benchmarking.
- Analyze financial statements, projections, and business models.
- Prepare internal notes and deal summaries for management and investors.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain deal trackers, pipeline reports, and investor databases.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal process requirements.
- Assist in post-deal documentation and reporting.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Investment Banking & Fund Raising processes
- Financial modeling, valuation, and Excel proficiency
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to handle both client-facing and backend execution work
- Solid attention to detail and multitasking ability
Qualifications
- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / CA-Inter / Finance Graduate
- 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Fund Raising, PE/VC, or Corporate Finance
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to equity or debt fund-raising transactions
- Experience working with investors, funds, or financial institutions
- Hands-on experience in preparing IMs, pitch decks, and data rooms
