Mining Safety Specialists - McClean Lake - 14/14 - Fly-In & Fly-Out - McClean Lake, SK
Orano is seeking Safety Specialists to join their team at the McClean Lake site in Saskatchewan. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on workforce safety, mentoring Safety Technicians and leading key programs such as Fire Prevention and Emergency Response. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for safety, and experience in industrial or mining environments.

What You’ll Need
- Safety Certification or active pursuit of a certification (e.g., CRSP, CHSC, NEBOSH, etc.)
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred)
- Post-secondary education in Emergency Response (preferred)
- 5 to 10 years of experience in an industrial or mining environment
- Familiarity with provincial and federal health and safety regulations
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Standard (asset)
- Ability to teach and speak publicly to workers and leaders
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with SAP, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and database management
- Completion of Orano’s pre-employment checks (education verification and employment reference checks)
- Drug and alcohol substance testing (including marijuana) required for all Safety Sensitive positions
