IT / Digital Media Specialist

Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a

CONTRACT-TO-HIRE IT/Digital Media Specialist in the Texas City area (77590) that

is eager to work. The IT/Digital Media Specialist will provide IT helpdesk level

support for the office, maintain social media pages and create digital media

content.

As an IT/Digital Media Specialist you’ll be responsible for:

• Provide IT systems support including administration, maintenance,

troubleshooting, and monitoring of company computers, software, networks, and

user access permissions while maintaining system documentation and supporting

cybersecurity best practices.

• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external technology

vendors, coordinating service requests, troubleshooting issues, tracking

performance, and assisting with evaluation of new technology solutions.

• Develop and maintain data dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau,

transforming operational data into meaningful insights and visual reports for

internal teams and leadership.

• Manage and maintain the company website, implementing updates, improvements,

system integrations, and supporting GIS or mapping technology where

applicable.

• Create digital media assets including graphics, presentations, marketing

materials, and video content using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative

Cloud to support communications and branding initiatives.

• Manage company social media platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook,

and X, publishing content, monitoring engagement metrics, and supporting

strategic social media campaigns.

• Provide administrative and cross-functional support by preparing documents

and reports using Microsoft Office, utilizing QuickBooks as needed,

documenting internal processes, and assisting with staff training on digital

tools and systems.

What you’ll need:

• Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Digital Media, Computer

Science, or a related field OR equivalent relevant experience preferred

• 2+ years of experience in IT support, technical administration, or similar

role

• Basic knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud skills (video production, digital

design, animation).

Perks

• $20-$23/hr+
