Job Description
As a Greenfield Leadership role in the company's 3PL vertical, your primary responsibility will be to build and scale the 3PL function from the ground up. This will involve a balanced focus on business development (50%) and operational setup (50%), aiming to establish a robust logistics ecosystem across warehousing, transportation, and partner networks. You will need to be a hands-on leader who can both create new business opportunities and set up the necessary systems, processes, and partnerships for scalable logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Revenue Growth (50%)
- Drive new client acquisition for 3PL services in agriculture and allied sectors
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and revenue streams
- Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for 3PL offerings
- Engage with key clients to understand logistics needs and craft tailored solutions
- Lead commercial negotiations and secure high-value contracts
- Setup & Operations Build (50%)
- Establish the 3PL function from the ground up, including processes, systems, and SOPs
- Identify, onboard, and oversee 3PL partners, warehouses, and transport networks
- Design and deploy scalable supply chain models for efficiency and cost optimization
- Define KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics for operations
