Role Description

This is an on-site contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, located across Nova Scotia, Canada. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in emergency situations, including assessing, treating, and monitoring patients. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare teams, documenting patient information, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations. Responding to emergency situations with efficiency and maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure will be integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in emergency care practices including patient assessment, treatment, and monitoring
• Ability to respond quickly to critical situations and follow emergency protocols with precision
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Detailed-oriented skills for maintaining accurate patient documentation and compliance with healthcare standards
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Canada, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), PALS, CTAS, TNCC, BLS certifications required.
• Experience in emergency room or trauma, Traige, settings is strongly preferred
• Compassionate, patient-focused mindset, and the ability to thrive in high-stress healthcare environments
