Our service portfolio includes large-scale AI/ML systems, data and statistical analytics, business process improvement, and AWS cloud expertise.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Tableau Developer to join our team on an exciting project with a federal financial regulator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building a data layer and an analytic layer in the AWS environment, that support the data visualization needs. The Senior Tableau Developer will develop configurable dashboards, data visualizations, and reports; utilize multiple systems, such as AWS Redshift and SQL Server, for efficient data retrieval, analysis, processing, and management of large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial transaction datasets to derive insights and present findings in a clear and compelling manner to enable the stakeholders to make better business decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functional teams with key process stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into data analytics and visualization solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau software.
  • Maintain and optimize existing dashboards to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience working as a data analyst at a financial related organization on financial data from a CFTC regulated entity (such as SDRs, SEFs, DCOs, DCMs), or US federal agency, with preference if at a US federal regulator.
  • Experience performing business analysis and design, including planning and facilitating design sessions, gathering requirements and converting to design documents.
  • Experience using data analytical tools (such as SAS, SQL, Python, or R).
  • Experience using dashboard development tools (Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy).
  • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts in a financial services organization.
  • Experience in technical writing and presentation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related fields.

This is hybrid position, the candidate needs to be located around DC metro.
