Job Description

As an Information Security Analyst at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in protecting the organization's computer networks from cyber-attacks and maintaining security standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring security alerts and events, investigating potential threats, and escalating incidents as necessary.
  • Assisting in implementing and monitoring security controls like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
  • Performing regular vulnerability assessments, analyzing scan results, and prioritizing and remediating identified vulnerabilities.
  • Supporting the incident response team in investigating security incidents, documenting findings, and participating in remediation efforts.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001 by conducting assessments and implementing necessary controls.
  • Installing security measures, operating software to protect systems, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
  • Documenting security breaches, assessing the damage caused, and fixing detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
  • Developing organizational best practices for IT security and performing penetration testing.
  • Upgrading systems to enable security software and staying abreast of information technology trends and security standards.
  • Contributing to security awareness initiatives by creating training materials, conducting workshops, and educating employees about best security practices.

To excel in this role, you need to possess:

  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to prevent network hacking and identify potential risks.
  • Proficiency in understanding firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, IDPS concepts, and security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with security regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additionally, academic qualifications and certifications required include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
  • Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are advantageous.
