As a Cloud Engineer (AWS) at NTT DATA, your role involves managing, optimizing, and ensuring the cost efficiency and high availability of resources across multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Tencent, Alicoud, and Fujitsu. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining scalable storage solutions, designing and managing virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, routing, DNS, and load balancing across clouds, utilizing monitoring tools for system reliability, managing system updates, security patches, and configurations, implementing cloud security best practices, supporting client migrations and transitions to multi-cloud environments, and maintaining up-to-date documentation of infrastructure design and operational procedures.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Deploy, manage, and optimize resources across multiple cloud platforms to ensure cost efficiency and high availability
• Implement and maintain scalable storage solutions, ensuring data durability, security, and performance
• Design and manage virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, routing, DNS, and load balancing across clouds
• Utilize monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and proactively identify performance issues
• Manage system updates, security patches, and configurations to maintain compliance and performance
• Implement cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and ensure compliance with organizational and client security standards
• Support new client migrations and transitions to multi-cloud environments, including infrastructure setup, account provisioning, and operational handover
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of infrastructure design, configurations, and operational procedures
• *Required Skills & Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Engineer)
• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with hands-on exposure to at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficiency in cloud-native services for networking, storage, monitoring, and identity management
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in distributed cloud environments
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Experience in cloud cost management and optimization
• Experience handling P1/P2 calls and escalations
• Able to work in a 24.7 production support model weekend on-call
• Able to help L1 staff in support
• *Preferred Skills & Qualifications:**
• Familiarity with automation and configuration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for infrastructure provisioning
• Experience supporting client transitions and cloud service onboarding
• Experience in infrastructure patching, system updates, and compliance frameworks
