ETL / Data Engineer with Snowflake Experience

You will be joining the Controls Engineering, Measurement and Analytics (CEMA) department as an ETL / Data Engineer with Snowflake Experience in Bangalore, Karntaka, India. The team focuses on Cyber Risk and Control assessment, management, monitoring, and reporting capabilities across Technology to reduce risk and enhance oversight. Your role will involve developing data pipelines, database views, stored procedures, technical data analysis, and monitoring and tuning queries and data loads. Collaboration with various teams to implement client-specific business requirements will be crucial.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop ETLs, stored procedures, triggers, and views on both existing DB2-based Data Warehouse and new Snowflake-based Data Warehouse.
• Perform data profiling and technical analysis on source system data to ensure proper integration and representation in models.
• Monitor query performance and data loads, and conduct tuning as necessary.
• Provide assistance and guidance during QA & UAT phases to validate potential issues swiftly and determine best resolutions.
• *Qualifications Required:**
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data development and solutions in complex data environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter for ETL development.
• Proficiency in SQL / PLSQL for writing ad-hoc and complex queries.
• Experience in developing stored procedures, triggers, MQTs, and views on IBM DB2.
• Understanding of E-R data models, advanced data warehouse concepts, and Python.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Airflow, Spark (PySpark), and DBT is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
