Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in desktop application automation along with either API or UI Automation using tools like Selenium, playwright, restassured, restsharp and Winium.

• The ideal candidate should have 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, specifically focusing on building robust test automation frameworks
• Must have Automation experience with Desktop based applications using either paid tool like Katalon Studio or with different libraries example WinAppDriver, Winium etc

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure test automation is integrated into the development process.
• Implement BDD using Cucumber or any other framework to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Perform API testing to validate integrations and data flows.
• Monitor test results, debug failures, and report defects.
• Ensure continuous integration of test cases with CI/CD pipelines

Experience

• 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in test automation.
• Proven track record in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• The candidate must have extensive experience in Selenium/Playwright , API Automation, BDD cucumber
• Must have automation experience with desktop based application (Win forms/Win PF etc).
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Mandatory Skills

• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in more than one language - C#, Java and javascript for developing and maintaining automation scripts.
• UI Automation: Extensive experience in writing automation scripts for web applications using different tools like selenium, playwright etc.
• API Automation: Solid experience in testing APIs using automation tools (e.g., REST Assured, RestSharp, Postman).
• BDD Cucumber: Proficient in implementing behavior-driven development using Cucumber.
• Must have Automation experience with Desktop based application
• Test Frameworks: Knowledge of test automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Performance: Knowledge of Jmeter for performance testing of UI and API.
• Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
