Automotive Technician (Journeyman)- Paradise Hill, SK

We have a new Service Manager and looking to expand our team of Ford technicians. We are currently are seeking full-time, certified Journeyperson/Red Seal Ford Service Technician in our Paradise Hill, SK. location.

The successful applicant must be able to commute or relocate to Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan. Relocation assistance will be considered where appropriate for Journeyperson/Red Seal applicants.

The qualified candidate will possess the following skills & certifications:

• Ford Certified Journeyman Technician is preferred.
• Journeyperson/Red Seal certificate in Automotive Technician;
• We will consider a 3rd Year apprentice with a recognized institution in Automotive Technician program, preferably with Ford experience;

Ford Certification would be preferred in one or more of the following areas:

• Electrical or Electronic systems
• Brakes
• Heating & Air Conditioning
• Suspension & Steering
• Manual Drive Train & Axles
• Automatic Transmission & Transaxle
• Engine Performance
• Engine Repair

Applicants must have:

• Must have own tools
• Direct and recent working experience in Ford or other automotive (domestic) service
• Strong computerized diagnostic skills using OEM specific programs
• Proficiency reading and interpreting gasoline/diesel engine and electrical schematics
• Experience in EV's would be beneficial
• Commitment to customer service, pride in quality workmanship and achieving and maintaining high standards.
• Positive and team-oriented attitude
• Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) Drivers License with current abstract

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Utilize schematics and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Conduct inspections and tests to assess vehicle performance and safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Stay updated on automotive technologies and participate in ongoing training, including achieving certifications such as Red Seal and Ford Certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
