Pharmacist for Clinical Services

Join Nova Scotia Health as a Pharmacist focused on Clinical Pharmacy Services in Northern Zone. This engaging full-time role emphasizes safe drug therapy and patient interaction. In this position, you'll report to the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services, ensuring the highest standards for drug distribution.

You'll oversee pharmacy support staff and deliver critical pharmacy services such as drug regimen reviews and pharmacokinetic monitoring. Your work will also involve collaboration with medical teams to make informed medication recommendations. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee drug distribution for inpatient and outpatient settings
• Conduct medication reconciliation and review drug regimens
• Offer drug information and educational programs to patients
• Engage in department medical rounds and provide counseling
• Mentor pharmacy students during training and orientation Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or higher
• Eligible for Nova Scotia Pharmacy registration
• At least two years of hospital pharmacy experience
• BLS certification required
