Notified is adding a Lead Technical Business Analyst to our Technology team in Toronto. Enjoy a hybrid work schedule with office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and the flexibility to work from home on Monday and Friday.

Job Summary
We are looking for a Lead Data Expert to join our Business Intelligence team and serve as a strategic partner with Sales and Marketing collaborating closely with C-Suite executives. This role will bridge the gap between business strategy and data insights, delivering high-impact analytics and scalable Tableau dashboards to empower decision-makers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the data required to drive Marketing and Sales strategies, a proven track record of transforming data into impactful insights, and the ability to collaborate effectively with executives. Key Responsibilities :
- Data Story Telling : Apply marketing and sales departments' context to visualizations to tell meaningful stories with data.
- Data Analysis : Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Process Improvement : Collaborate with marketing & sales operations to understand their processes and identify areas where data can enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration : Coordinate between business departments, existing business analysts, and business intelligence engineers to ensure business data needs are met.
- Business-Driven Data Exploration : Efficiently and accurately fulfill on-demand data requests by manually evaluating data from our data warehouse and other business systems to thoroughly analyze information leading to actionable insights.
- Tableau Reporting : Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau reports to support marketing and sales operations.
- Training : Provide training and support to Sales and Operations members on how to use Tableau reports and interpret data.
Minimum Qualifications :.
Education : Bachelor's degree with major course work in computer science, MIS, I.T., Data Analytics, Statistics or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education requirements.
Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, system administration, programming, data analysis and/or a related field within sales operations and marketing, including assisting businesses with defining KPIs and OKRs and building visualizations to support these.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Tableau and Excel. Ability to write SQL to extract data from Snowflake and cloud data warehouses.
- Domain Knowledge : Hands-on experience working with Campaign and Opportunity data from Salesforce. Experience using data to drive improvements from leads to quotes.
- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly and concisely across departments from junior level through the C-Suite.
- Team Player : Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and cross-functionally with business teams to define success metrics and align BI outputs with business goals.
- Time Management : Self-driven and able to manage and negotiate deliverables across multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in public relations or investor relations.
- Experience working with HubSpot data or similar marketing tools.
- Experience leveraging AI for analytics.
- Certification in Tableau, Snowflake, Excel.
