Urban Agriculture Program Facilitator

This position involves co-leading a supportive employment farming program for 18-30 year olds. You'll manage participant training and contribute to community outreach events, ensuring a robust learning environment. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you work with diverse groups in Thunder Bay, from May to October.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-lead the employment farming program
• Manage upkeep of urban agriculture site
• Supervise participant training and skill development
• Assist with community outreach events
• Develop evaluation tools for program effectiveness

Requirements

• Experience with group facilitation and diverse communities
• Knowledge of cooking and gardening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather
• Valid Class G driver's license and first aid certification
