Job Description

Position Overview

Northrop Grumman is seeking a DevOps Engineer/Principal DevOps Engineer at their Beavercreek, Ohio facility. In this role, you will be pivotal in installing, configuring, and maintaining the DevOps infrastructure – including GitLab, Kubernetes, Harbor, and other related technologies – as well as developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines for a mission-critical production environment at NASIC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain GitLab, Kubernetes, Harbor, and related DevOps technologies.
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Support a production environment on-site at NASIC, subject to obtaining the required clearance.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with:
  • For Level 2: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 0 years’ experience.
  • For Level 3: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD technologies.
  • Proven experience in configuring and maintaining Kubernetes.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Must obtain an IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+CE or SecurityX) within 90 days of starting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an Agile environment and a solid understanding of Agile principles.
  • Hands-on experience with OCI-compliant container technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman).
  • Proven ability to develop automation techniques that enhance deployment speed and service reliability.
  • Relevant DevOps or Cloud certifications.

  • Compensation: Primary Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00; Secondary Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00. Additional earnings may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, annual bonuses, and Long Term Incentives for senior roles.
