Role Summary
Seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in ReactJS and Java (8 & 21) to build scalable, cloud-native applications using microservices architecture and modern DevOps practices.
This role involves working in the Banking domain, supporting multiple applications, and requires the ability to handle multiple issues/requests concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop full stack applications using ReactJS and Java (Spring Boot / Spring Cloud)
- Design and build REST APIs and microservices
- Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka and JMS
- Work with JPA/Hibernate for data persistence
- Develop high-performance, multi-threaded applications
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure
- Apply TDD practices and maintain high code quality
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with multiple clients and cross-functional teams
Required Skills
- Frontend: ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML/CSS
- Backend: Java 8 & 21, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
- Data: JPA, Hibernate, SQL
- Messaging: Kafka, JMS
- Concurrency: Multi-threading, performance tuning
- Cloud/DevOps: Azure deployments, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Jenkins)

Salary Range:
$99,600 - 169,200 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
